SANSE
The Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastián, or SanSe, are the spirited, exuberant close to the longest holiday season in the world—a true celebration of Puerto Rican culture, music, and history.
This project is a imagining of the opening title sequence, designing a funky, weird, and colorful look that speaks directly to the heart of its fifty-five-year legacy. The identity brings the streets of Old San Juan to life, paying homage to the iconic vejigantes masks through textures of old paper and collage. It’s a riot of movement where we never hold back on motion, letting the type and imagery interact spontaneously in a Dada-inspired chaos. The final sequence isn't just an introduction; it's a piece of kinetic art that warmly assures every viewer they are about to dive headfirst into the most vibrant street party on Earth.
