A Thousand Words: Conceptual Artist Book

This conceptual project transforms the script of the film A Thousand Words—where a fast-talking literary agent must confront the finite consequences of every word he speaks—into an intimate artist book. Designed to function as a private diary, the book is a tactile object that visually emphasizes the tension and precious weight of language.

The aesthetic strategy employs handmade materials like string and newsprint, leveraging expansive white space and expressive scribbles to visually represent the protagonist’s diminishing word count.

The final design creates a highly personal and conceptual piece, inviting the viewer into an intimate reflection on communication, ego, and the struggle to repair human relationships.
